ABOUT US
Mr. Lombardo has been assisting clients since 1981. In addition to a law degree, Mr. Lombardo has an MBA giving him a business perspective when seeking a solution to legal issues. Mr. Lombardo is a partner in the law firm of Duke, Holzman, Photiadis and Gresens LLP. His practice includes the following:
- All aspect of residential and commercial real estate, including acquisitions, sales, financing, leasing (landlord and tenant), industrial development projects and mortgage foreclosures.
- All aspects of estate planning, including preparation of estate plans, Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts, Life Insurance Trusts, Wills, Health Care Proxies and Powers of Attorney.
- All aspects of estate and trust administration, including probate proceedings, preparation of estate tax returns, income tax returns (individual and fiduciary), federal and state lien release applications and fiduciary accountings.
- Business and corporate matters including counseling businesses in a number of industries from local start ups to multi-national corporations concerning a variety of matters, including business formation, financing, stock and asset based acquisitions and sales, reorganizations, contract and governmental compliance issues.
- Protections of creditors'
rights in proceedings commenced in Bankruptcy Court, including participation
in meetings of creditors, conducting evaluations of plans filed under
Chapter 13 and Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code, asset acquisitions,
challenges to bankruptcy discharges, and defending against Trustee
claims.
Mr. Lombardo has acted as local counsel in all practice areas assisting out of state individuals and businesses with local issues.
Professional ActivitiesMr. Lombardo is past Chairman of the Real Property Law Committee of the Erie County Bar Association and is an active member of the subcommittee responsible for establishing the local standard form of residential real estate contract. He has also served as a panelist on a number of real estate presentations many of which were sponsored by the Erie County Bar Association or New York State Bar Association.
